Clove Tea made From Dried Cloves Recipe

Ingredients

    • 6–8 whole cloves
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
    • 1 slice fresh ginger (optional, for warmth)
    • 1 small piece cinnamon stick (optional, for depth)
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Instruction

  1. Boil the water: In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add cloves: Drop the whole cloves into the boiling water. Reduce heat and let simmer for 8–10 minutes, allowing the oils to infuse.
  3. Optional additions: If desired, add ginger and cinnamon during simmering for extra flavor.
  4. Strain the tea: Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a cup, discarding the cloves and any added spices.
